About Phoebe Trites

Stay Inspired, Live Life

Phoebe’s art focuses on themes that have motivated and inspired her in life which are fantasy, landscapes, and nature.

She was born with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele (a medical condition on the rare disease registry) and hydrocephalus, which are believed to have contributed to her dyslexia, dysgraphia, and severe dyscalculia.  These medical conditions and learning disabilities presented her with unique life perspectives.  After completing her home school education program early this year at only 17, she plans to continue pursuing her artistic studies to learn new skills.

For her, art serves as a healing outlet.  She is a co-op studio artist and volunteer at the NOTO Arts Center in Topeka, KS where some of her latest artwork is on display.  Her work may also be seen at Amused Gallery & Gifts in Topeka, KS
