April 20, 2026 – Exhibition Announcement

Some news worth sharing today — and this one carries a little extra meaning.
“Calm Flight of Imagination” has been officially selected by jury for Abstract Zone 2026, Exhibizone’s 4th annual international juried exhibition, running online from May 7 through July 7, 2026.
What makes this acceptance particularly significant is that it isn’t the first time this piece has been independently selected. “Calm Flight of Imagination” was previously selected for the What Do You See? regional curated exhibition at 80 Santa Fe Gallery in Overland Park, Kansas, where it was on display from August through October 2025. Two entirely separate groups — one regional, one international — evaluated and selected the same work.
Abstract Zone 2026 is a curated international platform open to abstract and non-representational artists worldwide. Selected works receive global exhibition exposure through Exhibizone’s smart online exhibition, are featured on Artsy.net — the world’s leading art marketplace for collectors and art professionals — and are included in the official Abstract Zone 2026 exhibition catalogue, available in both digital and print-on-demand formats. Exhibition pages remain active permanently, providing lasting visibility for selected artists.
The painting itself — a 9×12-inch framed acrylic on canvas — invites viewers to project their own interpretation onto the imagery. Many see a bird in flight; others see a turtle swimming. That openness is exactly what abstract art offers, and it’s clearly resonating.
In light of this recognition, the price for “Calm Flight of Imagination” has been updated to $216, reflecting both the current pricing structure and the documented exhibition history the piece has now earned.
